FCOMC has it's new track.
The riders and families before the launch of the new track.
The hard working FCOMC committee with celebrity guest's Paul Chiappa (on Yamaha right seated) and lifelong FCOMC club member and S.A.C.U Quad Committee member Ian Clark. (seated on Quad on left)
The superb Fife Community Offroad Motorcycle Club racetrack at Cardenden has undergone a major transformation by the austere hand of British motocross track building guru Johnny Douglas Hamilton.
Johnny had spent a whole week realigning and grading this superb racecourse in order that local man and seven times Scottish Twinshock motocross champion Paul Chiappa from Dunfermline and lifelong FCOMC club member and S.A.C.U Quad man Ian Clark could be cordially invited to be the first riders to christen the brand new layout.
The community oriented facility set amongst the picturesque backdrop of Lochgelly woods boasts a range of excellent facilities that other motocross tracks can only dream of, with it's superb access roads, hard standing paddock area, and on site shop for all your moto-x racing consumables, there is a full hot and cold snacks menu from their well stocked on-site food bar, and luxurious full mains flushing toilets, add a fully supervised kiddies track to the mix where the young stars of tomorrow can hone their skills in complete safety and you have an offroad motorcycle facility for everyone.
The FCOMC organisation had spent a considerable amount of funds on this refurbishment to make this into without doubt one of the best offroad motorcycle venue's in central Scotland and the assembled riders and their families who turned up on the day were not disappointed with the outcome..
