Fife Community Offroad Motorcycle Club was formed in February 2004 and  it's main aims are to.......

  • Develop educational opportunities for children, young people, adults and pensioners through the activities of the club.
  • Address Community Safety issues relating to illegal use of off road motor vehicles by providing alternatives to "at risk" behaviours.
  • Develop Volunteering opportunities to support "Active Citizenship".
  • Encourage Inter-generational work to maximize opportunities that pass on and develop skills for future generations.
  • Also to provide positive alternatives for unattached young people or those at risk of exclusion from school who do not take part in organised activities by using montisorial methods of learning.

In short, the club wishes to provide a safe and supervised environment for Motocross and Quad ATV use as well as trying to to discourage (in line with the proper authorities) the use of these vehicles on private and public roads or walkways.

Situated on the outskirts of Cardenden woods near Lochgelly, F.C.O.M.C offers active motocross riders of all ages and abilities from 6 to 106 the use of our two regularly maintained racetracks. The paddock area is of a hard standing variety and there is never any problem gaining access during even the wettest of winter weather.

The main motocross and Quad track is over 1.9 miles in length with a collection of sweeping turns, tight hairpins, and a mixture of table tops and jumps. The racetracks are always maintained on a daily basis with the help of our trusty club tractor.

The club's on site facilities include the track shop which stocks all your motocross accessories, sprockets, handlebars, oil and a multitude of other consumable items at very competative prices, it also boasts excellent mains running water, and mains flushing toilets which is a luxury many other venues do not have.

And there is always an on site refreshments kiosk open whenever the racetrack is in use to supply hot and cold drinks and other quality refreshments for the thirsty riders and spectators.

The facility is always open Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 5pm  and Wednesdays ,from 5pm to 8pm, during the summer months. But please see the "Track Latest" page  to get the latest track information as this is updated on a weekly basis.

We also run various motocross events throughout the year and club practise day's between meetings, and our first big event of 2007 is to host round 2 of the Scottish Twinshock Club's championship on 22nd of April. Which includes classes for Pre 77 bikes, Evolution, Over 40's, Twinshock 250 and 500, Fourstroke, and a Monoshock modern class which is always full to capacity.
