Occupation - "Well at the moment I'm still at Buchaven Primary just now but I'd like to be a digger driver like my dad when I leave the school".

Marital Status - "What do ye mean by that?. . . Chris - well Stuart that means how many girlfriends do you have and how many are you married to at the moment". . ."Naw I dinnae have any girfriends cause bike's are mair fun any way.... and they dinnae take your money aff ye my dad say's".

Any Heroes - "Aye Paul Chiappa he's brilliant on a motocross bike".

Hobbies (other than motocross) - "I like to go sea fishing off the beach at Buchaven when I'm not on my bike".

Then (about your past)

What was your first bike - "I got a wee KX 60 as my first bike and it had stabilisers cause I was only five at the time and it didnae look very cool".

How much did you pay for it - "Well I was too wee at the time and had no money so my dad paid for it I think it was about £300".

First ever race - "That was just a few weeks ago at the FCOMC Junior Championships here at Cardenden on the 13th June".

First win (if any) - "None yet but I'm still trying my best and hopefully it won't be too long before I get one".

Best ever result - "That was at the same meeting at Cardenden when I finished 4th overall. . .I was well chuffed".

Carreer highlights so far - "I got my picture taken with the legend that is Paul Chiappa".

What is your current race bike - "A Honda CR 85"

What is the best feature of your current bike - "It's fast and I don't have to pay for anything I just tap my dad when I need dosh or need it fixed".

What is the worst feature of your current bike - "I've been having a lot of problems with the wiring on it and it can be a bit of a pain some times".

What would you do if you won the lottery - "I'd buy loads and loads of bikes,. . and if I won a lot of money like maybe 2 million or that I'd give my dad two grand all to himself".

What get's your back up What annoy's you more than anything - "People who cannae ride a bike as fast as me because they all get in my road when I'm on the track".

Ambitions for the future - "It would be great if I could maybe win the Scottish Championship one day".

What is your ultimate dream machine - "Another CRF 150 I just love them".

Your views on the Cardenden track - "I mainly like the jumps. . . and it's definately better since it was all done up it's a crackin track".

Any final words or embarrassing racing moments - "Well at the Scottish Junior meeting here at Cardenden a few weeks ago I was at the start line and I discovered that there was hardly any petrol in my bike and I had no time to fill up but I managed to finish the race anyway so I was very lucky. . and then I went home and went out on my pushbike hit a kerb and fell on my face and burst open my lip and had to go to hospital. . what a wee diddy eh".

Hobbies (other than motocross) - "I'm into my skiing, and I love going to Glenshee which is just up the road from me and you should see me when I'm on the piste. . . or even when I am pissed for that matter".

How much did you pay for it - "I bought it from my brother in 1980 but I cannae remember what I paid for it . . . .it's my age you see I'm gettin on a bit".

First ever race - "That was at Nether Windings in Stonehaven in 1981 when I raced in the adult juniors".

Best ever result - "I got two second's  in the B Class at Kilmartin in 1984".

Career highlights so far - "When I finished third overall in the Fourstroke Class in 2008. . . that was magic".

What is your current bike - "I have a 1982 500 Armstrong CCM and a 414cc 1980 rare Twinshock Montesa".

What is the best feature of your current bike - "The Armstrong that I'm riding at the minute has never had a spanner on it since I bought it. . . .Chris - "aye I know and it looks like it as well . . .can you no give it a wash".

What is the worst feature of your current bike - "Well to tell the truth it's not really fast enough and it's a pretty heavy bugger as well. . . Chris - "that's two features ya diddy".

What would you do if you won the lottery - "I'd go straight to CCM and buy a Cook's CCM because their awesome. . . .and I would probably buy a wee country estate and be a gentleman farmer".

What get's your back up what annoy's you more than anything - "I hate it when people lie to me I can't stand that. . . but mind you I suppose it's ok if I do it to them".

Ambitions for the future - "Just try and stay healthy and happy and enjoy my racing".

Your veiws on the Cardenden track - "Aye it's alright but it depends what mood I'm in really".

Best mate - "Don't have any I just love all the people I meet. . .Chris - "what about Stephen Pollock because your his best mate. . . "oi don't push it big yin". 

Any final words or embarrassing bike or racing moments - "Well when I was seventeen I was sitting on my KH 250 trying to look cool talking to a couple of girls I fancied when I leaned too far back and fell off the bike and went over on my arse and then the bike fell over as well. . . needless to say I made a quick exit and never saw those girls again surprisingly".

How much did you pay for it - "I paid about £2,500 from Wright brothers in 1992 which was a fortune at the time".

First ever race - "That was at Forestmill in 2004 at a Scottish Twinshock meeting . . .I tell you I was crapping myself that day".

First win if any - "Aye right. . .. I keep trying like a bear but so far nitto".

Best ever result - "I got a second overall at Cardenden in 2007 man I was rockin that day".

Carreer highlights so far - "I got my first ever trophy at Dunoon in 2005. . . I tell you what I was singing all the way back in the ferry after that one . . and folk thought I was aff my heed". . . Chris - "Well they'll find out sooner or later".

What is your current bike - "Iv'e got a Husky come Yamaha 600 Hybrid thingy".

What is the best feature of your current bike - "Probably because it was built in 2005 by the legendary Keith Baird who was a very special rider in his day and I know you know him well".

What is the worst feature of your current bike - "Absolutely nothing it's just that the riders shite really".

What would you do if you won the lottery - "Probably pay Megan Fox to be my housekeeper and do extra's for me round the house, and the garage and the consrvatory etc if you get my drift".

What get's your back up  what annoy's you more than anything - "That's easy people on mobile phones when their driving it does my tit's in. . . . and when Joe McLean try's to beat's me. . . .which I hasten to add is not likely  to ever happen".

Ambitions for the future - "Just stay out of jail and try and be a good wee boy from now on".

What is your current dream machine - "A Cagiva 500cc Moto GP bike. . .man what a tool".

Your views on the Cardenden track - "Well personally I like it because it's alway's been good to me and I alway's get good result's there".

Any final words or embarrassing bike or racing moments - "That was at Dunoon in 2005 it was a shitty wet meeting Chris . . .well that's unusual for Dunoon is'nt it" . . .  anyway I thought I was doing great gettin round when I fell off the bike. .. then picked it up and fell flat on my arse and just totally lost the plot and threw my goggles away in a temper and it was all captured on video for prosperity by you. . . . . ya swine".

Occupation - "I'm a Plumber . . and you should see the size of my hosepipe and U bend"

Marital Status - "Oh I'm married to my lovely Diane" Chris - awwwww ya wee sap".

Any Heroes - "Naw I've not got any really . . .  but that Paul Chiappa chappie is a dedicated loony so you've just got to admire him. . . . no to be serious if you really want my all time hero it has to be Susan Boyle because she's from my neck of the woods and she's A Hot Baby. . . . it's the hair that does it for me you know".

Hobbies (other than Motocross) - Well I like to do a bit of fly fishing now and again in my spare time. . . . why only the other day I went out fly fishing and caught a 25 pound Blue Bottle . . . and I also like to go on the ocassional shooting trip which cheers me up after I've had a bad day on the track. . . . that's when I could just about shoot any bloody thing that crawls or moves. . .  but in the end it all relaxes me and takes the pressure off what has probably been a very bad day for me.

How much did you pay for it - "You know what I have'nt a clue but I'm sure my dad bought it for me and paid a vast amount of money for it . . . that's because were minted you see.

First ever race - "To tell you the truth I've had so many bangs on the head in my racing career I can't remember when that was. . . . why not try and ask somebody who was consious at the time they might know".

First win (if any) - "That's a harder question than the last one you just asked but I suppose it was . . . . . . . ."eh what was that question again".

Best ever Result - Oh aye I can remember that one that was at Kilmartin in 1978 when I finished just behind the legendary Dennis McGarry in the Schoolboy's.

Carreer highlights so far - "Nae problem that one. . .  that was when I ate three strawberry Pavlovas at the Kendal Classic Nostalgia meeting in 2007". Chris - "ya wee pig yeh".

What is your current bike - "Well at the moment I have four big boys bikes the legendary mega Maico 490's, Chris - "why do you need four 490 Maico's Waldo when you've only got one arse to sit on them". Waldo - "that's so's that I can have a choice of bike to crash on in the race ya diddy".

What is the best feature of your current bike - "It has'nt got a best feature but maybe finishing a race on one one day would be a good start".

What is the worst feature of your current bike - "Aw just the usual Maico trait loads and loads of maintenance and just keep chucking money at them. . . in that way there not unlike woman really".

What would you do if you won the lottery - "I'd pay off my overdraft . . my mortgage and then just p..s off with the bikes somewhere and live happily ever after.

What get's your back up, what annoy's you more than anything - "Watching that wee shite Chiappa finishing in front of me".

Ambitions for the Future - "Just grow old gracefully and lie on beach somewhere and dream of 490 Maico's.". . . . .starting first kick.

What is your ultimate dream machine - "Well for some time now I've been thinking that maybe I was never born to be a Motocross rider. . .  and that is purely because I have been flying  through the air more times than Richard Branson in my career that I am sure that I was supposed to be a pilot at some time. . ..so I would probably buy myself a helicopter because I'm sure there was mix-up somwhere when they were handing out the skills certificates when I came out the womb.

Your views on the Cardenden track - "To be truthfull it's not my favourite track as I have never ever had good results while racing there".

Any final words or embarrassing racing moments - "What was the question again . . . Chris - any embarrassing moments? . . .you must be kidding just look at your collection of U-Tube clips and then pick your favourite, and that is just for starters".
